Jesse Gardner, DMD - Pediatric Dentist
Dr. Gardner has always enjoyed spending time working with children. Even before pursuing dentistry, Dr. Gardner has been involved with children's groups in the community, including leading cub scout packs, teaching Sunday school classes, and organizing youth activities. Becoming a Pediatric Dentist "when he grew up" is a dream come true because now he gets to work with children every day!
After graduating with honors from BYU, Dr. Gardner continued his education at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine with some of the most renowned dentists and researchers in the country. The decision to continue his education even further in the field of pediatrics was easy, but only through hard work and dedication did he qualify for an exclusive position at Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City as a dental resident. Through two years of additional training, Dr. Gardner expanded his knowledge and skills by working with children at all levels of dental and medical complexity to become a pediatric dental specialist. He then voluntarily completed the examination process to become Board Certified in Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Gardner is committed to keeping up to date with the latest scientific research in pediatric dental medicine. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and practices dentistry following the latest evidence-based guidelines. Dr. Gardner is also a member of the American Dental Association, the Missouri Dental Association, the Greater Springfield Dental Society, and the Missouri Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
In his free time, Dr. Gardner enjoys spending time with his family: his wife Savanna and his three children Henry, Jane, and Charlotte. He loves having adventures outdoors in the beautiful Ozarks.
